POPIA OREO ALA BAKLAVA

Ingredients:

  • 40 pieces Spring roll pastry, 8” x 8” size
  • 2 packs (266 g) OREO cookies- Original, crushed
  • 2 tbsp Plain flour
  • ½ cup Water

Ingredients A (optional):

  • 4 cups Kellogg’s® Honey Crunch, finely ground
  • ½ pack (70 g) OREO cookies- Original, finely ground
  • ¾ cup Sugar, finely ground

Instructions:

  1. Mix plain flour with water.
  2. Sprinkle the crushed OREO cookies onto the spring roll pastry, roll it tightly and glue the ends with the flour mixture.
  3. Let the roll dry a little bit to allow the crushed OREO cookies to stick onto the pastry so that it can be cut easily.
  4. Cut the spring roll at an angle and fry over low heat until the spring roll turns slightly brown. Then, drain the excess oil.
  5. Finely grind ingredients A separately and mix it all together once done.
  6. Put the ingredients for coating in a bag or large container filled with fried spring rolls and slowly shake until it covers all the spring rolls. It is ready to be served.
