Adam’s ‘Feel Better’ Chicken Soup

Upon finding out that his mother is feeling under the weather, Adam prepares a pot of simple yet nutritious Chicken Soup packed with vegetables and nourishing white fungus - all made with love to help his mother to feel better.


500g Chicken Keel

1 Sweet Corn

350g Carrots

20g White Fungus

30g Red Dates

2 Litre Water




  1. Blanch chicken keel and discard water.
  2. Clean, soak and trim white fungus.
  3. Chunk sweet corn and carrots.
  4. Bring all ingredients to boil then cook at slow heat for 2 hours.
  5. Serve the soup hot.
