| Helping Children with Leukaemia |
- We launched the Tesco – UMMC Helping Children with Leukaemia Fund; an initiative to raise money for low-income paediatric patients of University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) who are diagnosed with leukaemia.
- We aim to raise RM1 million in 3 years by various fund raising events and initiatives. The funds raised will support treatment costs, equipment for patients and special medication of those deserving children undergoing treatment in UMMC.

| Community Champions |
- As part of our journey to continuously support at both local and national level, we implemented Community Champions into our stores. This initiative gives us a platform to work with local people to make a positive difference in an area. These team members support community events and are involved with local charities and councils.
